All the NaNoWriMo words

Here's a peek at my NaNoWriMo word count stats, and how I made a phobia-ridden turtle trainer get on a plane for a scavenger hunt in Fiji.

It’s my birthday today! And so far my family has done their job in spoiling me rotten. Dinner and a night of Transcendence Theater @ttcsonoma last night with friends, coffee and breakfast in bed this morning, and a whole day of celebrating. I feel so blessed to have this life, surrounded by so many wonderful people, I’m having hard time not feeling choked up. I’m just so grateful. Here’s to 42!
Sparkling in the summer, red in the winter. Cheers! 🍷🎄
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. 🎄
Are at the Blue Bayou tonight. Food pictured is the calamari, the chicken, and the vegetable pasta, plus the Louisiana Lemonade. Not pictured is the Monte Cristo, which was more delicious than everything.
The kids and I took a mini just-the-three-of-us trip to Disneyland, and this about sums up our Thanksgiving. Pouring all day, we’re cold and soaked through, but smiling and so happy to be here. All this rain has kept the crowd light and lines short, and we’re so grateful for these obnoxious ponchos, and for our time together. We split up our day with a 3-hour nap, and will be back in the parks soon to brave the rain, cold, and crowds. This is definitely a Thanksgiving we’ll remember. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and your families!
Woke up at 4 am with the kids and drove to Disneyland! The drive was a smooth 7 hours. The scenery was so gorgeous as the sun rose over cumulus clouds and foggy fields, and the snow on the Grapevine was a winter wonderland, and just light enough that my little car made it up and over just fine. No park today, but we did enjoy tacos with a few (20) hungry birds in Downtown Disney. Now I’m unsuccessfully trying to keep the kids from sleeping because it’s too early! But they keep falling asleep. I’m about to bust out my mom music (all the Bon Iver) to annoy them into keeping awake. Parks tomorrow!
