Meet Griffin Lahoma, MMC of The Lost Lovers Club

If Sasha Felix is the person everyone in Lahoma Springs has an opinion about, Griffin Lahoma is the person caught in the impossible position of remembering who she was before everything went wrong. This guy is one part asshole, five parts loyal, and all parts completely in love with the girl who keeps breaking his heart.

Griff has known Sasha practically his entire life. She was his first friend, his best friend, and somewhere along the way, the girl he loved—even when loving her meant watching her choose someone else.

And then she left.

Four years ago, Sasha disappeared from Lahoma Springs without saying goodbye. She left behind her infant daughter, the man she’d built a life with, her family, and an entire town left dealing with the fallout of her choices.

She left Griffin, too.

For four years, Griff has tried to build a life that doesn’t include Sasha Felix. He’s gone on without her. He’s learned to live with the silence she left behind. He’s even managed to convince himself that maybe what they had belongs in the past.

Then he finds her stranded on the side of the road – sick, broke, and completely alone.

And just like that, every feeling he thought he’d buried comes rushing back, because walking away from Sasha has never been something Griff knows how to do.

In The Lost Lovers Club, Griffin becomes the first person Sasha sees when she returns to Lahoma Springs – and the first person willing to give her somewhere safe to land. He brings her home and takes care of her. And while the rest of the town remembers everything she did, Griff can’t stop remembering everything that came before.

The girl he grew up with. The friendship that shaped his life. All those years of loving her quietly, even when she belonged to someone else. And the brief moment when it seemed like maybe, finally, she might choose him.

That’s the problem with Griff: his heart has never gotten the message that Sasha is dangerous to it. He loves her. But he doesn’t trust her. And that distinction becomes everything.

Sasha isn’t asking Griff to forget what she did. She isn’t even asking him to forgive her. She’s trying to prove that the woman who came back is different from the woman who ran away.

Griff wants desperately to believe her. He also knows what it feels like when she leaves.

So while Sasha’s story is about having the courage to come home and face the people she hurt, Griffin’s is about having the courage to hope again when experience has taught you not to.

He has to figure out whether loving someone means believing in them even when they’ve given you every reason not to—or whether sometimes protecting your heart means finally letting them go.

In The Lost Lovers Club, Griffin Lahoma finally gets the love story that has been waiting most of his life to begin. The question is whether he can believe this time it won’t end with her leaving.
