Hi, I’m Crissi Langwell.

I’m a multi-genre author who writes emotional, character-driven stories across romance, women’s fiction, and imaginative fiction. No matter the setting or genre, my work explores the tender, complicated, transformative moments, flaws and all, that make all of us human.

I’m the author of the small-town Lahoma Springs series, the award-winning Sunset Bay series, and a handful of earlier books that reflect the entire spectrum of my storytelling heart. My Hope series dives into women’s fiction themes of loss, healing, and self-discovery, while my speculative novel Loving the Wind tells a prequel tale of the Peter Pan story from Tiger Lily’s point of view. Writing across genres has always felt natural to me—I’m drawn to stories with emotional truth, whether they’re grounded in reality or touched by a little magic.

Community is a cornerstone of my creative life. I serve as President of Redwood Writers, a branch of the California Writers Club, and Secretary on the state-level CWC board, where I support authors in finding courage, clarity, and connection in their own writing journeys.

I live in Northern California with my writerly husband, our blended family of grown kids, and an extremely spoiled Maine Coon cat. When I’m not writing, I’m usually juggling multiple books at once, drinking too much caffeine, or contemplating the clouds.

I’m so glad you’re here. I hope you discover a book that feels like it was written just for you.
